If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.

There is something about autumn that draws me to gaze up at the trees. The abundance of seeds hanging and falling. Such variety of shapes, sizes and colours. Our kitchen table has bowls of ash keys, shiny conkers, prickly sweet chestnuts, sycamore helicopters and lime seeds collected from various walks and wanderings.
If you are like me and want to know and appreciate trees more as you walk along urban streets or country lanes, here are some books, films and games that have been our companions. I’ve also linked some ideas for autumn tree crafts below – some we have already enjoyed and others we are looking forward to doing in the next couple of weeks.
